About Us
Loïc and Emily opened red brick french cuisine in Villa Rica in October 2001, still reeling -- with the rest of the country -- from the shock and devastation of 9/11, but excited to see what the future would bring.

Having spent our adult lives in large cities (Emily in New York; Loic in Bordeaux, Toulouse, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Atlanta), we knew that the magic of city living is found in the neighborhoods, the street life, the people... and we believed that same electricity could happen in a small town.

Once our doors opened, what we discovered was a whole world of foodies, wine lovers and generally interesting people tucked into the countryside and small towns of West Georgia.

Eight years, two restaurants and a few ups and downs later, we're still here.  There are lots more restaurants and shops in downtown now and S. Carroll Rd. has everything from law offices to hair salons, and day spas to dental offices .  We're a little more country now -- our two dogs, Perry and Maddy, go everywhere with us --, but we keep a firm hold on our vision of small town as big city, just better.

Please come and see us and experience city-quality food served with the warmth and
hospitality of our little corner of the world!

Chin Chin!
